Modest and tailored tops and bottoms, including skirts or trousers (mid to lower thigh length). Dresses with partial cutouts accepted (midi to maxi length), clean sandals or heels allowed.

The Gold Coast Turf Club has specific dress regulations for the members, function and public areas. Please view below before attending. Access will not be granted if you fail to adhere to dress code.

Public Areas

Minimum respectable dress standards are required for general admission. Footwear must be worn at all times. Dress t-shirts, collared shirts, jumpers, and jeans are acceptable attire in our public areas.

  • Race 1

    Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 19th September

    #5 YES DONALD YES $3.70  and  #16 MADAME CODY $10 

    Let’s start with YES DONALD YES, he is the main bet. Like the fact he is lightly raced and have liked the runs this prep. Last start was a dominant win at this track over this trip. From the gate looks to get a nice run and can be the one they all have to run down late. MADAME CODY just seems better than her record suggests to me. She may need the run but the trial have been good and the light weight is a nice help too. 

  • Race 2

    Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 19th September

    Quinella (#1 EXCEED THE SALE + #4 WEOWNACHEVY) 

    EXCEED THE SALE has been good at every run. Had to come the widest last start and that may have just cost it late. Honest as they come and this is the right trip for it. WEONWACHEVY was unlucky as you could be two starts back but made amends to break maiden status in dominant fashion last time out. Has more wins in store. 

  • Race 3

    Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 19th September

    Best value: #10 TARAVIA e/w $9/$2.80  or possible Quinella (2,3,10) 

    SOCIAL OUTCAST was excellent over this trip last start and the little claim keeps it as a live chance here. Can be near the speed and be hard to run down. CAPTAIN MAVERICK just doesn’t win but he gives himself a chance every start. Looked winner again last time out but nailed late again. TARAVIA is simply the lightly raced one with upside and looks a decent stayer in the making. He is handy but looks a different horse when he gets out to this trip (bred to be a genuine stayer). With no weight he can be very hard to run down here and looks some value.
