Local trainer Bryan Guy set to retire after a distinguished training career
Gold Coast trainer Bryan Guy saddled up his last runner on Saturday after more than 50 years of formal involvement in the industry. Guy, who has been a fixture at the club since moving up in 2000 is set to retire after a distinguished training career.
Guy finishes his career with 1297 wins (339 of those being at GCTC) and four Group 1 winners including his latest victory at the highest level with Eagle Way in the Queensland Derby at Eagle Farm in 2016.
We wish Local trainer Bryan Guy a well-deserved retirement and thank him for his contribution to the Club and industry over the last 2 decades.
