  • Race 2

Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 5th September

    #3 MORE REVOLUTION

Big field and a few chance, I’d be rapt if we got double figures about this. Well beaten on debut but was the 2nd best L400m and 200m of that race. Liked him at $21 last start and he copped a horrible steer. Good through the line but no idea how close he should have finished. Horrible gate here is an issue but at least he can get to the outside and open air to let down. I could back him e/w or have a saver on AGADOO who is the likely fave and been consistent.

  • Race 3

Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 5th September

    #3 OCCUPATION

This is a competitive race and I’m taking a risk that the northern rivers form is good enough. I admit this horse has to improve to win, but I feel he can. Still lightly raced with only four starts and three of them this prep. Won easily last start but in a five horse field. Rock hard fit, I feel the trip will suit and just a little play for an interest here.

  • Race 5

Gold Coast Turf Club – Saturday 5th September

#12 QUEIN STEP and  #2 IL FRATELLO if the 12 doesn’t run.

Clearly the two horses with the most upside in the race. Loved the effort of QUEIN STEP when last here. Got back to near last and was good then entire straight to run 2nd. I thought the most recent trial was outstanding and is ready to go. The only issue is the outside gate over 1000m with a horse who will go back. Still has the class to win. IL FRATELLO completely lost it’s action at Toowoomba and had to be an issue. Quiet trial recently and I want it to be a little winning result also if prices allow.
